If you're having problems with a “Windows Installer” window popping up when launching Quickbooks, your problem is most likely related to one of two problems.

	* The .NET 2.0 framework became corrupt.
	* The dll's for Quickbooks need to be re-registered.

There are several pages about this on the internet, but a few important pieces are missing or spread over a few pages.

	* The certificate used to encrypt the connection must be imported into the client's pc.
	* The certificate must be placed in the root certificate store on Vista PC's. XP is less fussy about this.
	* Use Basic/Password authentication over the SSL encrypted connection

Night Ringer Option

Say you want to have incoming calls answered by someone in a factory/manufacturing area. Ringing the phones is not loud enough.

You also have a paging system on an available channel (say Zap/9 for example).

ClamAV

Dag Wieers maintains RPM's for ClamAV. There may be a few problems with his packages overwriting configuration files. I strongly recommend keeping a copy of your working config files somewhere outside of the upgrade path then copying them as necessary. It may also change some permissions on specifically the clamav-db files. That being said, it's not entirely a bad thing to use his RPM's.

== Enable Dag's Repository ==
Create a file in /etc/yum.repos.d/ called dag-CentOS.repo

These instructions assume that you will use a separate domain for your mailman mailing lists. In this example we use lists.domain.tld, but it would work with any dedicated domain. We further assume you have a working Postfix installation. These instructions have been tested on CentOS 4 and 5, but should work on other Redhat based distros.
